................ M O R I B U N D I T I E S .................
OCTOBER 2001 - Police arrested a 25-year-old woman on murder
charges after she struck a homeless man with her car and let him bleed to death
in the windshield last October. Apparently driver Chante Mallard was hopped up
on drugs and alcohol when
she struck vagabond Gregory Biggs with her car. The impact had hurled him
headfirst through the windshield, his broken legs sticking out onto the hood.
According to police reports, Mallard claims she panicked and drove to her home
a few miles away with Biggs still lodged in the windshield. Mallard told police
she occasionally went into the garage, apologizing tothe victim, but refused to
get help for him. After he died, she then dumped the body in the park.
